Russian Acron's 2011 net profit up to US$478 million
From RUB5.123 billion (US$175 million) net profit in 2010, Russian fertiliser maker Acron said its net profit surged to RUB14.012 billion (US$478 million) in 2011.
According to its financial statement prepared under Russian Accounting Standards, the company's annual revenue was RUB33.246 billion (US$1.1 billion), up 46% from RUB22.752 billion (US$776 million) the year before, sales totalled RUB13.772 billion (US$470 million), an increase of 114% from RUB6.445 billion (US$220 million), and EBITDA rose 107%, to RUB14.256 billion (US$487 million) from RUB6.887 billion (US$235 million).
EBITDA margin, a key indicator of a company's operating profitability, went up to 43% from 30% in 2010.
