CNPC will provide millions of cubic meters of top quality natural gas to the Olympic Cauldron throughout the Games.

CNPC's participation has also made it possible for the six host cities ─ Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shenyang and Qinhuangdao to fulfill their commitment of realizing a green Olympic Games. It is estimated that CNPC will provide 6.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas for Beijing in the year 2008, which would help giving Beijing a bluer sky and clearer waters.
