On March 12, CNPC and Guangdong provincial government signed a strategic cooperation agreement at Diaoyutai State Guest House in Beijing.

Member of the Political Bureau of CCCPC and secretary of Guangdong Provincial Committee of CPC Wang Yang, and CNPC Vice Presidents Zhou Jiping, Wang Yilin and Liao Yongyuan attended the ceremony. CNPC also signed related protocols with Jieyang Municipal Government of Guangdong Province.
