On May 2, the cracking gas compressor for the 1Mt/a ethylene unit at Dushanzi Petrochemical Company was successfully put into trial operation.
As a key equipment of the ethylene unit, the cracking gas compressor has a rated power of 56,967 kw to boost the pressure of cracking gas from 0.1 MPa to 3.7 MPa. It is currently China's largest cracking gas compressor, as well as the largest one for liquid feed ethylene unit in the world.
