Jilin Oilfield to increase one million ton productivity

On July 15, a productivity construction project was launched in Fuyu to increase Jilin Oilfield's annual production by one million ton.

With 50 years' history of exploration and development, Jilin Oilfield added 50 million tons to its proven oil in place every year in recent years. Oil and gas production of the field has increased by one million tons every two years since 2004, and reached seven million tons in 2008.

The current project will facilitate the production increasing and stabilizing course of the field, and will also help to promote local economic growth.
