On November 24, CNPC and Hubei Provincial Government inked a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Wuhan, the capital city of Hubei province. The cooperation scope between the two sides will include refined products tank farm and marketing network, gas supply, gas pipelines, gas storages, urban gas and compressed natural gas, which will surely promote the development of low carbon economy and building of resource-saving and environmentally friendly society in the province.
Hubei provincial governor Li Hongzhong and CNPC Vice President Zhou Jiping signed at the agreement on behalf of the two parties. Deputy governor of Hubei Provine Li Xiansheng and PetroChina Vice President Sun Longde delivered speeches at the signing ceremony respectively.
Before signing the agreement, Li Hongzhong and Zhou Jiping had talks on further strengthening cooperation and prompting common development.
