It's reported that the Korean section steel producers announced to hike the ex-factory prices for March to reflect higher input costs, in spite of weak demand.
Hyundai Steel increased the prices of section steel by KRW30, 000/ton from March 1st and Dongkuk Steel hiked the prices by KRW30, 000/ton as well from March 4th.
The price rise for section steel made by Korean steelmakers reached KRW60, 000/ton in the current two months.
