According to statistics, Russia's iron ore exports totaled 1.386 million tons in May, slumping by 35.5% from a month ago and decreasing by 35.6% year on year.
In the first five months of this year, the country's iron ore exports amounted to 10.343 million tons, up by 0.5% year on year
In the given period of time, the country's iron ore exports made to China totaled 6.136 million tons, up by 1.2%; those to Ukraine were at 1.294 million tons, increasing by 20% and those for the Netherlands were at 838,000 tons, increasing by 31.3%, all compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
