Iron ore stockpiles decline at Chinese ports

INTERFAX-CHINA reported that iron ore stockpiles at China's ports declined as demand from traders and steelmakers grew following price increases for billet and steel products at the beginning of the week.

Reserves at 30 major ports decreased 0.44% to 95.95 million tonnes on Friday

Australian - 42.16 million tonnes, down by 0.17 million tonnes
Brazilian - 24.29 million tonnes, down by 0.11 million tonnes
Indian - 7.39 million tonnes, down by 0.06 million tonnes
