It's reported that the Chinese steelmaker Ansteel announced its financial result for 2012.
In 2012, the company realized a net loss of RMB4.157 billion, slumping from a net loss of RMB2.146 billion in 2011. At the same time, the company's operating revenues are at RMB77.748 billion, falling by 14.02% year on year.
Meanwhile, Ansteel's production of crude steel totaled 19.6288 million tons in 2012, down by 0.78% and that of finished steel products was at 19.0911 million tons, falling by 0.41%, both compared to those in the same period of a year ago.
Besides, Ansteel's sales volumes of finished steel products totaled 18.876 million tons, up by 0.2% year on year.
