Xinhua reported that China Machinery Industry Federation and China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on Thursday announced the country's top 100 machinery manufacturers and top 30 automobile producers in 2012, respectively.According to CMIF Vice President Cai Weici, China National Machinery Industry Corporation topped the list of machinery manufacturers with main business revenues totaling CNY 212 billion (USD 34.3 billion), up by 11.73% YoY.The top four car manufacturers each reported business revenues totaling more than CNY 200 billion with Shanghai Automobile Industry Co taking the top spot.CMIF President Wang Ruixiang said that machinery and automobile manufacturers are faring well despite the economic slowdown and sluggish market.
