Hebei Steel announced on September 3 to revise up coke purchase price by CNY 50 per tonne following a previous rise of CNY 30 per tonne on August 6.
After adjustment, the procurement price of the steelmaker's subsidiaries including Tangshan Steel and Chengde Steel for coke reached CNY 1,450 per tonne (base price, delivered to the station).
The prices above are 17% VAT included and take effect from September 1, 2013.
