The South Korean Hyundai Steel recently announced to raise its domestic prices for commercial grade hot rolled coils (HRC) by 20,000 won/ton for December delivery.Hyundai Steel stated that it decided to raise its HRC prices in order to reflect the increased steel prices in international market and sharply surged scrap prices.However, industry sources said that Hyundai Steel may fail to raise prices due to sluggish demand.
