South Korea’s steel export revenues rise in November

According to data released by the South Korean Ministry of Knowledge and Economy (MKE), the country's trade surplus in November was at US$4.5 billion, higher than US$3.7 billion in October.

In November, the country's export revenues amounted to US$47.8 billion, rising by 3.9% year on year and increasing by 1.5% from a month ago.

At the same time, the country's export revenues of base steel totaled US$3.8 billion, increasing by 15.3%; those of automobile were at US$4.5 billion, up by 1.8%, both compared to that in November, 2012
