Japan’s crude steel production may decrease in 2013

According to forecast made by Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), Japan's crude steel production in 2013 would be lower than this year.

Besides, JISF predicted that the country's domestic demand for steel products and the exports of steel products would decrease in 2013.

Meanwhile, JISF estimated that Japan's crude steel output in 2012 would be at 16 million tons ~17 million tons, remaining flat from a year ago.
