Brazil’s iron ore exports down by 6.1% y-o-y in December

According to the latest data from the secretary of foreign trade, Secex, the country's export values generated by iron ore totaled US$3.21 billion in December, increasing by 12.4% year on year.

In December, the country's iron ore exports totaled 31.80 million tons, decreasing by 6.1% year on year.

Meanwhile, the export prices of iron ore averaged at US$100.8/ton in December, higher than US$87.2/ton in the same month of 2012.
