In late Dec. 2014, Shenzhen Capchem released the reorganization plan, stating to acquire 100% equity of Sanming Haisifu. This indicates that Shenzhen Capchem will expand in the fine chemical field, so as to enrich business structure and increase profit growth point. Meanwhile, it may be beneficial for Shenzhen Capchem to develop related upstream business, then strengthening the capability to control business costs and hold product quality.

In Dec., 2014, Huiqiang New Energy put the first high-end power Li-ion battery separator production line with completely independent intellectual property in China into operation, indicating that Chinese enterprises have broken the monopoly by foreign enterprises and have promoted the domestication of high-end separator in China. Meanwhile, it will effectively reduce the production costs for power Li-ion battery.

In early Dec. 2014, it was disclosed that the Chinese government planned to issue subsidy policy for power Li-ion battery. Taking the Notice on the Award for the Construction of Charging Infrastructure for Alternative Energy Vehicle issued before into consideration, CCM believes that it is of great possibility for the government to issue such a subsidy policy for power Li-ion battery and that it will be released in the near future. If the subsidy policy can be specially issued for power Li-ion battery, it will bring cost decreases to alternative energy vehicle manufacturers, and further will boost its development in China.

Fire accidents may occur frequently during the production of Li-ion battery. Normally, there are rarely casualties since it takes a long time from smoking to catching fire and to explosion. However, in late Nov., 2014, a fire occurred in Dongguan Jinmingyang, killing five people. This accident astonished the industry and sparked discussions. As the new Work Safety Law took effect on 1 Dec., 2014, the government intensifies efforts to rectify the work safety. This will accelerate the integration in the Li-ion battery industry.
