Since May 2012, Chinese government has started to promote the construction of Quality Credit System, which may advance the development of Chinese sweetener industry in the future. In overseas market, although the EU made a final verdict for the midterm review of anti-dumping measures on Chinese cyclamate, the total export volume of Chinese cyclamate will not be obviously impacted in the near future.

Besides, Chinese sucralose industry may face two risks in the future: overcapacity and the continuing downtrend of price. However, some domestic enterprises still start their new sucralose projects. For example, Shanghai Suzan has started one in Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province.
