Welcome to Insecticide China News published by CCM International, a professional consulting company which has been extensively and intently focusing on dynamics of China's insecticide industry.
AgroChemEx 2011 was held in Shanghai on 20-22 Oct. Through visiting the meeting, CCM International learnt that as the most important segment in China's pesticide industry, rice insecticide market still attracts much attention, though pesticide industry underperforms this year due to the minor occurrence of pests. The consumption of insecticides such as chlorantraniliprole, flubendiamide and spinosad in China's rice insecticide market is expected to increase in the future, while that for some old products is expected to keep stable or even decrease. Besides, some new varieties are also expected to be introduced into China in the near future.
Opposite to the promising products, highly toxic and highly residual pesticides may face stricter policy restriction—according to the Ministry of Agriculture, the new edition of Regulations on Pesticide Administration under revision now would be issued in 2012, which will stipulate more stringent regulations on these pesticides and bring more chances for the development of environmentally friendly products.
