Domestic listed agrochemical companies released their semi-annual financial reports in Aug. 2013 and most of them performed well in revenue and operating profit aided by good sales situation, such as Huifeng Agrochemical, Qianjiang Biochemical, Huapont-Nutrichem, Noposion and so forth. Take Huifeng Agrochemical for example, the company's total revenue and net profit reached about USD166.76 million (RMB1.02 billion) and USD12.38 million (RMB75.78 million) in H1 2013, up by 42.89% and 53.88% year on year respectively.

To seize better opportunities and enhance the competitiveness, domestic listed agrochemical companies pay more and more attention to domestic and foreign investments. For instance, Noposion intended to acquire Changlong Chemicals' 15% stock equity to achieve high-quality asset consolidation in the pesticide industry, and Lanfeng Biochemical aimed to set up a joint venture company in Italy to further expand its international pesticide business.
