Biomaterials China News 1402 is the first upgrading edition of CCM E-journal. More abundant contents and forms are presented. As for the new edition, six parts are contained: Market Dynamics, Company Dynamics, Political Factors, Market Data Analysis, Technology (presents in the following issues irregularly) and Price Update.  

In this issue, two in-depth analysis of news are presented to display the difficulties encountered in China's biodegradable material industry, and the first national standard about biodegradable polyester implemented in Jan.  

As for Jan. and Feb. 2014, domestic biomaterials like completely biodegradable film, bio-fiber composite material, degradable PU elastomer as well as  LCDAs  have made progress to different extent. Kingfa's completely biodegradable film (using PBSA as biomaterial) successfully passed the test in tobacco field in Yunnan Province. Jiangchuan Guowei launched a bio-fiber composite material project in Lanxian County, Shanxi Province. In addition, Bazhong Fangyuan completed its Industrialization of Water-based Nontoxic Degradable PU Elastomer Project and put it into pilot test. Moreover, Parity Biotechnology's 10,000 t/a LCDAs project is under design, and is expected to be completed in H1 2015.
