In Sept. 2025, the yellow phosphorus market was in its pre-Mid-Autumn and National-Day restocking phase, which increased the demand for yellow phosphorus, the market price of MAP showed a weak downward trend, while the market price of DAP remained stable.

On 23 Sept., 2025, Chengdu Wintrue Holding Co., Ltd. announced that the company plans to invest an additional USD6.89 million (RMB49 million) in Sichuan Mabian Shenglong Mining Co., Ltd. to jointly develop the Erba phosphate-lead-zinc mine in Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province.

On 18 Sept., 2025, the European Commission announced that, following an application lodged on 7 August, 2025 by the EU company LANXESS Deutschland GmbH, it has initiated an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of alkyl phosphoric acid and its sodium salts originating in the People's Republic of China.

On 1 Sept., 2025, Guizhou Yuneng New Energy Battery Materials Co., Ltd.'s revised EI report including the "major changes" in the 300,000 t/a semi-wet process PA project was publicised by the Fuquan Branch of the Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Ecology and Environment Bureau, Guizhou Province.
