In Nov. 2022, prices of major fluorochemical products were mixed. Specifically, fluorite prices continued to edge up as market supply remained tight. Accordingly, production costs of downstream AlF₃ and AHF went up and AlF₃ and AHF prices grew to different degrees. However, R22 prices maintained stability at a low level as downstream demand was sluggish and cost support was weak.

Important market dynamics in Nov. 2022

On 17 Nov., 2022, Limin Group Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary planned to build of project of 20,000 t/a LiFSI, 30,000 t/a LiPF₆, 5,000 t/a functional additive, and 100,000 t/a electrolyte.

On 16 Nov., 2022, Zhejiang Yonghe Refrigerant Co., Ltd. announced that the company intended to sign a R&D cooperation agreement with China University of Petroleum (East China) and establish a subsidiary as a R&D platform of the two sides.

On 4 Nov., 2022, the environmental impact assessment report of the 8,000 t/a VDF, and 10,000 t/a perfluoro(2-methyl-3-pentanone) project of Inner Mongolia Yonghe Fluorine Co., Ltd., the subsidiary of Zhejiang Yonghe Refrigerant Co., Ltd. was publicised.

The Import & Export data for Oct.–Nov. 2022 of China Customs has not come out yet. We will inform you of that once we receive it from the Customs.
