• The industry standards (draft for comments) for "Maltogenic Amylase Preparations" and "Glucose Oxidase Preparations" was publicized.
• The draft revisions to food safety national standards for food additives L-alanine (GB 25543-2010) and L-arginine (GB 28306-2012) was made public for public consultation.

Project Update

• Yuwang Bio plans 250,000 t/a lysine project
• Heilongjiang Eppen Biotech proposes 450,000 t/a amino acid and supporting project
• Anhui Enlogics plans amino acids and organic acids project
• Anhui Spec-Chem proposes microbial product industrialisation expansion construction project

Company Update

• MeiHua Group's revenue decrease by 2.87% YoY while the net profit increased by 19.96% YoY in H1 2025.
• COFCO Tech's revenue decreased by 11.09% YoY, while the net profit increased by 74.44% YoY in H1 2025.
• Jinhe Biotechnology's revenue increased by more than 30% YoY, and net profit increased by more than 50% YoY in H1 2025.

Price Update

• In Aug. 2025, the price of citric acid kept decreasing.

Import and Export

• China's export volume of corn starch in July 2025 increased slightly compared to June.
