In Oct. 2022, the prices of main fluorochemical products showed an upward trend. Specifically, fluorite prices went up under tight market supply. Accordingly, prices of downstream AlF₃ and AHF increased to different degrees as costs grew. R22 prices mainly maintained stability as the overall downstream demand wad sluggish. PTFE prices slipped as raw materials costs eased off and demand weakened. LiPF₆ prices picked up again driven by cost and demand.

Important market dynamics in Oct. 2022

On 19 Oct., 2022, Zhejiang Juhua Co., Ltd. released its performance estimation for Q1–Q3 2022, showing that net profits are forecast to surge by 519%–577% YoY.

On 18 Oct., 2022, the official website of Dongyue Group Limited showed that its 10,000 t/a PVDF project was completed and put into production.

On 18 Oct., 2022, the official website of Lee & Man Chemical Co., Ltd. showed that the first set of FEP equipment of its subsidiary produced qualified FEP.

On 6 Oct., 2022, Arkema announced that the 5,000 t/a R1233zd production equipment jointly constructed by Arkema and Shandong Aofan New Material Co., Ltd. started operation.
