In March, LiPF₆ is oversupplied on the whole, and its price drop again, falling by more than 70% YoY. CCM thinks the competition within the LiPF₆ market will become increasingly intensified in the wake of following capacity release.

Prices of lithium manganate downslided this month. At present, in addition to decreasing in upstream lithium carbonate that further weakens the cost side, the downstream demand side also remains inactive.

In Feb. 2023, China's installed capacity of power battery was 21.9 GWh, a YoY increase of 60.4% and a MoM increase of 36.0%.

On March 13, 2023, Xinxiang Tianli Energy Co., Ltd. sought to cooperate with Yecheng County (in Xinjiang Province) to invest in lithium mines, dressing plant, lithium salt processing plant, and Li-ion battery materials.

On 28 Feb., Camel Group Co., Ltd. proposed to invest USD0.98 billion to build a low voltage lithium battery & energy storage lithium battery production bases project.
