CFIA issued public announcements, soliciting opinions on the industry standards of Amino Acids, Their Salts and Analogues – Part 23: Hydroxyproline, Industrial Corn Starch, and Food Safety National Standard - Food Nutritional Fortificant L-Lysine.

Project Update

• Omiley Bio finished its amino acid series products and food additives project.
• Changxing Pharmaceutical completed the 900 t/a food amino acids project.
• Xinjiang Meihua plans a 90,000 t/a valine project.
• Freda proposes a biofermentation raw material technology renovation project.
• Nanle Yunwei plans a 300 t/a biomass lactic acid pilot project.
• Tongliao Meihua proposes a pilot workshop project.

Company Update

• Dongxiao Bio received listing approval and is set to list on the NEEQ Basic Tier.

Price Update

• In Oct. 2025, the price of citric acid kept decreasing.

Import and Export

• China's export volume of corn starch in Sept. 2025 decreased by 13.65% compared to August.
