In Oct., prices of major fluorochemical products rose significantly. Fluorite prices continued to climb as supply was in shortage and the prices are likely to keep steady in the short term. AHF prices rose as raw material prices went up and the prices are likely to slip in the short run as downstream demand is sluggish. The overall R22 price maintained stability while showing a tendency to climb. AlF₃ prices continued to increase as raw material prices mounted up.

Important market dynamics in Oct. 2023

On 12 Oct., 2023, Guangxi Hetai Investment Group Co., Ltd. and Luxi County, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province held a signing ceremony for the 100,000 t/a high quality anhydrous AlF₃, 20,000 t/a electronic grade hydrofluoric acid, and 10,000 t/a LiPF₆ project.

On 1 Oct., 2023, a production accident took place at the fluorite mine of China Kings Resources Group Co., Ltd. Consequently, local emergency management department required Zhejiang Zijing to suspend operation of the fluorite mine temporarily.

On 1 Oct., 2023, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province held a review meeting on the construction plan of Juhua Group Corporation's new project, pollutant treatment demonstration project.
