In Nov., sluggish demand is the main reason for price drops in insecticide products.

• Early this month, ex-work prices of imidacloprid TC and acetamiprid TC declined under weak sales. Shandong Hailir, a supplier of these two products, gradually resumed operation of its production lines in mid-Nov.
• Late this month, some insecticides TC saw their price drop and some maintained stable price. Prices of pyrethroid insecticides had mixed trends. A few nicotinoid insecticides TC had their price set lower, mainly due to slow sales.
• The ex-works price of 98% chlorfenapyr TC in China went down by 21.14% MoM in late Nov., mainly because prices of raw materials were at a low level.

In terms of company dynamics, Anhui Neotec has the phase-I 3,000 t/a lufenuron TC and 1,000 t/a flumioxazin TC lines of its 15,500 t/a pesticides TC project come into trial production. Jiangxi Huihe's spirotetramat TC production line has come into trial production, too. Besides, Shandong Youdao launched its chlorantraniliprole TC product in late Oct.

In terms of registration of insecticide products, in Nov., the Department of Agrochemical Management, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs released two batches of approved pesticide registration renewals, covering 483 insecticide products, of which 58 are insecticide TC products. In late Nov., ICAMA publicised a batch of pesticide products to be approved of registration, which include ten chlorantraniliprole products.
