Rice is one of the crops with a very large cultivation area in China. In the past ten years, China's planting areas of rice increase year by year, particularly as China continues to increase the minimum purchase price of rice in recent years. However, its regular growth is affected by varieties of weeds in the fields, such as echinochloa crusgalli, cyperaceae weeds and other malignant weeds. Therefore, the development of rice herbicides in China has caught much attention of the insiders. And the use quantity and frequency of herbicides have increased year by year in China. 

However, some experts think that most of the malignant weeds are triggered by the large amount of long-term use of sterilant herbicides and selective herbicides with high frequency in certain areas. Especially as a lot of herbicide-resistant malignant weeds have had an impact on the production of some crops, new rice herbicides are needed by the market in China.
