Ex-works price of glyphosate technical had a month-on-month decrease since from April 2014. In the succeeding May and June, it continued to drop month on month. So did other glyphosate formulations. On 13 June, 2014, the first batch name list of the glyphosate (PMIDA) manufacturers passing Environmental Protection Verification (EPV) was released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People's Republic of China. Four manufacturers passed the EPV in this batch, including Zhenjiang Jiangnan Chemical Co., Ltd.; Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical & Chemical Co., Ltd. (Nantong Jiangshan); Youth Chemical Co., Ltd. and Hubei Taisheng Chemical Co., Ltd. Will this name list become a signal for a favorable turn of glyphosate price in the coming months?
