For Chinese companies that operate a glyphosate business, glyphosate has boosted their operating performance in H1 2013. China's pesticide manufacturers that have glyphosate/PMIDA as core businesses, including Zhejiang Wynca, Nantong Jiangshan, Hubei Taisheng and Anhui Huaxing, have avoided profit losses in H1 2013 due to their glyphosate businesses. Other pesticide companies that do not regard glyphosate as their core business have also achieved sharp revenue and profit growth in their glyphosate businesses.

However, the glyphosate market still has many uncertainties leading into H2 2013, such as the unstable supply and price. Therefore, will China's glyphosate manufacturers be profitable in H2 2013? Will glyphosate continue to boost the operating performance of China's pesticides companies in H2 2013?
