The ex-works price of glyphosate technical decreased slightly in early Dec. 2012, which was the first time to decrease since April 2012, but this price still stays at a relatively high price, and most producers make profits from this price at present. Basically, the price of glyphosate technical, glyphosate formulations and PMIDA in 2012 is the best one respectively since 2010, and the average ex-works price of glyphosate technical increases by about 25.21% in 2012 over 2011. In 2013, there may be additional 100,000t/a glyphosate technical capacity, and the possibility of the stringent national environmental protection standard being promulgated may be low. Will this price decrease of glyphosate technical in early Dec. 2012 indicate the depressed market appear again in 2013?
