Glyphosate market sounds nice in the spring of 2012! Glyphosate price has kept uptrend in Q1 2012, up about 10% from mid-January to mid-March. And many active producers claim that glyphosate supply is tight now.

Can Chinese glyphosate industry enjoy a good market in 2012? Different people have different opinions. But good glyphosate technical market, if there will be, will only be seized by these top producers with strong competitiveness in domestic market. There will be no much survival space for those small-scaled manufacturers, because the stricter environmental protection standard for glyphosate industry, which is expected to release soon, will become a barrier for the small-scaled producers. With the increasing consciousness in environmental protection, Chinese government will no longer develop industries at the cost of environmental pollution.   

The 13^th CAC exhibition was successfully held in Shanghai in March 2012, and many exhibitors and visitors attended the exhibition to seek for new opportunities. Many exhibitors deemed that the CAC exhibition is a "chicken rib"—limited promotion effect, but they had no other choice but to attend it.
