In the past decade, the performance of China's pesticide industry has been superior to the global average. Even in 2006 and in 2008-2009, its output growth rate was still higher than 10% because of reasons like the increasing demand or pesticide capacity transfers to developing countries.

Since 2008, there have been many investment chances for China's pesticide industry, because of reasons such as the speeding up of domestic enterprises' merging and reorganization, the growing attention paid to food safety and environmental protection and the going off-patent of patents pesticides.

After about three tough years, China's pesticide industry has begun to recover in the last two years, with its profit margin rising gradually. The demand of pesticides will keep increasing steadily in the next few years, while its capacity expansion will be restricted under stricter environmental policies. On the whole, pesticide industry is predicted to be promising in China. Thus, investment in pesticide industry will be a good choice.
