In May 2014, the China Crop Protection Industry Association issued the highly anticipated 2014 China's Top 100 Pesticide Manufacturers List. Although this list only discloses the ranking and pesticide revenues of these 100 eligible pesticide companies, it is still worth being analysed through the comparison with the data on the previous lists released in the past 3 years (2011-2013). In this way, the overall situation of the top 100 companies' pesticide revenues is displayed—which company has climbed up significantly, or suffered a large decline.

China's pesticide industry has witnessed a rapid growth since 2011. Against the backdrop of prosperity of the pesticide industry, it is hardly surprising that most of the top 100 pesticide companies on the lists enjoy their increasing revenues in these years. In the meantime, they are regarded as the state-of-the-art pesticide operators in China and almost all companies witness growths to varying degrees in these years. The main part of this report refers to the details and related analysis concerning these ranking lists.     Notes: All figures (2010-2014) in this issue are calculated by the same RMB/USD exchange rate (1USD=6.1556RMB).
