In July 2023, prices of major fluorochemical products remained stable. Specifically, fluorite prices fluctuated while showing a slight downward trend and the overall fluorite supply capacity was weak. Market supply and demand of AHF was weak and AHF prices edged down. The overall R22 price scarcely changed as end market increased but raw materials costs dropped. AlF₃ prices maintained stability as supply and demand kept balanced.

Important market dynamics in July 2023

On 19 July, 2023, Shenzhen Sunxing Light Alloys Materials Co., Ltd. announced to expand the capacity of PVDF to 5,000 t/a.

On 17 July, 2023, Henan Hongdangfang Chemical Co., Ltd. announced to raise capital for its industrial by-product salt resources comprehensive utilisation and 10,000 t/a LiPF₆ project

On 30 June, 2023, Tonze New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. publicised a prospectus showing that it intended to raise capital for the 30,000 t/a LiPF₆ and 6,000 t/a high-purity LiF project.

On 29 June, 2023, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Shaoxing City revealed the environmental information of the 5,000 t/a new type environmental fire extinguishing agent and fluorine-enriched electronic new material project of Zhejiang Noah Fluorochemical Co., Ltd.
