In May 2025, India's Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue issued the notification on continuing to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese sodium citrate for five years.

• COFCO Biotechnology released its 2024 annual report, showing a 1.06% YoY decline in operating revenue but achieving a turnaround in net profit from loss to profitability.
• Xiwang Food released its Q1 2025 report, showing an 85.22% YoY decline in net profit; net profit decline by 85.22% YoY
• Baolingbao disclosed its Q1 2025 report, showing that revenue, a YoY increase of 24.23%, and net profit , a YoY surge of 117.35%

Price Update

• In May, driven by multiple factors such as reduced supply and increased demand, the price of DDGs has soared significantly, with a MoM increase of up to 14.53%.

Import and Export

• In April 2025, China's corn starch exports saw a significant increase, with a MoM growth of 16.51% and a YoY increase of 14,855.28%.
