• On 2 Nov., China Customs updated the list of approved Brazilian corn exporters. About 136 corn export facilities were approved to export Brazilian corn to China.

Market Analysis

• Boosted by the drastic increase in Q3 profits, some listed hog-producing enterprises have been out of the red. But some hog producers are still losing money.
• Meihua Group's revenue increased while that of LHG dropped, as per their Q3 reports published at the end of Oct.
• On 1 Nov., the EI report of Shengtai Medicine's functional starch-based sugar production lines retrofitting and expansion project (Phase I) was accepted and publicised.

In the first three quarters of 2022, China's corn imports volume decreased, but import prices rose, compared to the same period of last year.
