In terms of market analysis, China's national autumn grain harvest has passed the halfway mark, exceeding 50%.

In terms of company and supply, Wotu Seed was approved for listing on NEEQ; Jiangsu Seed Industry Group plans to raise USD140.64 million; SuKen Agriculture's H1 2025 revenue and net profit decreased;Longping High-Tech and Winall released their Q3 2025 reports, with net losses of USD70.30 million and USD19.51 million respectively.

In terms of trade analysis, in Sept. 2025, China's import volume of seeds of soybean, corn and vegetables up by 41.80% MoM to 657.94 tonnes, while the export volume dropped by 11.08% MoM to 178.29 tonnes; In Jan.– Sept., 2025, China imported approximately 103.79 million tonnes of grain, down 16.82% YoY. In Sept. 2025 alone, 15.47 million tonnes of grain were imported, up 11.95% MoM.

In terms of policy, Anhui Province issued technical guidance for the autumn planting of wheat and rapeseed; The NDRC issued guidelines for the application and distribution of grain and cotton import tariff quotas for 2026.

In terms of variety, hunan released its 2025 approved list of major crop cultivars, including 81 rice, 10 corn, 1 cotton, and 8 soybean varieties; Tianjin released its 2025 approved list of major crop cultivars, composed of 5 rice and 9 corn varieties.
