At last, glyphosate technical has become a commodity product in China. This is attributed to a few factors. ... At present, IDA pathway relies on the imported DEA as raw material. The antidumping issue on imported DEA is worsening the situation of players who use IDA pathway. However, some changes that are worthy of attention happened recently. ... It is well-known that the development of worldwide glyphosate industry is closely connected with the popularization of genetically modified glyphosate tolerant crops. While, in China the planting area of GMCs is currently small and the only variety is genetically modified pest tolerant cotton. Therefore, players who follow glyphosate industry of China should attach more importance to any changes about GMCs that will happen in the future.
