On the project front, on 27 April, the EI report on Wengfu Jiangshan's 32,500 t/a yellow phosphorus project was publicised. On 12 May, Fuhua Tongda obtained 95,000 t/a of glyphosate capacity replacement quotas. On 15 May, the EI report for Shenghongwei's yellow phosphorus fine chemical project was publicised. On 21 May, Nantong Jiangshan's application to issue convertible bonds to unspecified objects was approved.
Regarding corporate updates, Rainbow launched its North Africa operations, establishing differentiated distribution across four country markets; Zhejiang Wynca released its Q1 2026 report, showing a 12.69% YoY increase in revenue and a 190.61% YoY surge in net profit.
On the regulatory side, MARA issued provisions governing the registration of pesticides for export only (EX registration); Zhejiang Province issued measures for the evaluation, accreditation, and administration of chemical industrial parks.
In export trade, in Feb. 2026, China's glyphosate product exports maintained their upward trajectory. The largest exporter was Fuhua Tongda, and the largest destination was the United States.
