In Q1 2025, the China pesticide price index maintained the low level trend from 2024. While the prices of the majority of pesticide products kept falling, the rate of decline generally decelerated. For instance, glyphosate, imidacloprid, and azoxystrobin prices continued to decrease, but not as sharply as previously. Conversely, the prices of some pesticides, such as abamectin, emamectin-benzoate, and tebuconazole, saw a significant rise. Overall, with the destocking cycle coming to an end, most pesticide prices are anticipated to narrow and stabilize in H1 2025.

In this issue, CCM has selected 15 pesticides with significant changes and high popularity for analysis, examining their factory price trends in Q1 2025 and making predictions for supply, demand, and prices in 2025. The USD/CNY exchange rate used is USD1.00=CNY7.1775, sourced from the People's Bank of China on 1 April, 2025.
