Market analysis: In Sept., the overall price of insecticides remained stable, with a slight decline in the prices of some products. Among the products with price fluctuations, the price of triazophos technical material fell more noticeably, while the prices of other products remained stable.

Enterprise dynamics: Hailir and Noposion released their 2025 interim results, which posted YoY net profit growth of 24.27% and 17.35% respectively; Norsyn and Sino-Agri Union both posted YoY net profit growth, up 9.58 % and 109.85 % respectively.

Policy: MARA issued the draft standard "Maximum Residue Limits of 2,4-D dimethylamine salt and 97 Other Pesticides in Food" for public comments; MIIT and NDRC jointly issued the Guidelines for the High-Quality Development of Industrial Parks.

Trade analysis: From Jan. to Aug. 2025, China's export volume of insecticide formulations reached 372,792.60 tons, a YoY increase of 31.98%; the export value rose by 19.58% YoY, while the average export price fell by 9.40% YoY.

Pests: The Jiangsu Provincial Forestry Bureau issued its forecast for the third generation of the fall webworm (Hyphantria cunea); overall, damage is expected to be light; Guangxi forecasted a moderate-to-severe outbreak of pests and diseases in its late-season rice crop during the mid-to-late growth stage in 2025.
