In November, insecticide market prices were mixed, with the majority falling and a slight MoM increase in TC ex-works prices. Notably, abamectin TC ex-works prices rose by 4.71% MoM, emamectin benzoate TC rose by 1.59% MoM, imidacloprid TC rose by 0.49% MoM, acetamiprid TC rose by 0.80% MoM, chlorpyrifos TC rose by 3.59% MoM, and lambda-cyhalothrin TC rose by 2.24% MoM. Meanwhile, buprofezin TC fell by 1.64% MoM. The rest of the products remained stable.

On the trade front, insecticide export volumes rose by 16.61% YoY in October 2024.

Enterprise dynamics: There is EIA for Hebei Junliang's 4,500 t/a clothianidin and 5,000 t/a intermediate project; Dezhou New Power completes indoxacarb technical project; Greatchem's insecticide technical renovation reduced to 2,800 t/a and other latest developments.

Policy: Once the "one product, one certificate" policy is implemented, the number of pesticide products will be significantly reduced, and the pesticide industry will face a situation of reshuffling.

Registrations: ICAMA announced the 11th batch of planned registrations for pesticide products, including 81 insecticides. Most of these insecticides are low toxicity, with the majority in SC.

Pests: The Guizhou Provincial Plant Protection and Quarantine Station has released the 2024 bean weevil occurrence trend, predicting that the bean weevil epidemic will occur at a moderate to relative heavy occurrence in 2024; the China Plant Protection Information Exchange and Pesticide Machinery Trade Fair has released the trend of major pest and disease occurrences for 2025.
