In early Nov., the ex-work prices of most China's fungicide TC saw a MoM decline. The ex-works prices of triazole fungicides TC witnessed a slight decrease in Nov. Noverber is the traditional sale season for triazole products in the downstream market. However, buys display low interest in stocking. The current supply of triazole TC is stable amid such sluggish demand. In addition, Shandong Hailir has resumed production in 15 Nov., with the ex-works prices of pyraclostrobin TC remained unchanged. 

In terms of company dynamics, in Nov., Jingmen Jinxianda announced suspension of the 500 t/a pyraclostrobin TC production line. Sichuan Xianyida planned to invest USD2.77 million (RMB20 million), aiming to transform the original 5,000 t/a of 99% diisopropyl malonate pesticide intermediate into 3,400 t/a of diisopropyl malonate series products.  Yuanda Ecological is planning to acquire 100% equity of Shaanxi Microbe, with target amount of USD115 million (RMB830 million), aiming to braek into the biological fungicide market. Qianjiang Biochemical announced that the company planned to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Qichao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Zhejiang Qichao, name to be decided), with its funds totalling USD49 million (RMB350 million). Jingbo Agrochemical was expected to invest USD2.32 (RMB16.70 million) for carrying out automatic upgrades and transformation and raised the production capacity of kresoxim-methyl to 800 t/a.

In terms of policy,  the Jiangsu Provincial Government released the Guidance of Persistently Reducing the Utilisation and Raising the Efficiency of Chemical Pesticide and Fertiliser via Extending the Real-name Purchase and Quota-based Utilisation (the Guidance), outlining concrete measures oriented toward the purchase and utilisation of pesticide and fertiliser in Jiangsu.

In terms of registration, in Nov., the ICAMA publicised the list of pesticides extending registration. A total of 1,266 products were listed, 292 of which were fungicide products, including 30 fungicide TCs.

In terms of pests & diseases, in Nov., the vegetable diseases in the province occurred moderately in general, with the main diseases including downy mildew, phytophthora blight and gray mold.
