- CFSA issued a public announcement regarding the safety and technical necessity of sucrose 1-fructosyltransferase, a new variety of food nutrient fortifier Lacto-N-tetraose, and the supplementation of quality specifications for food nutrient fortifiers 2'-fucosyllactose and lacto-N-neotetraose.
- Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the notice on the Sugar Industry Development Action Plan (2025–2027).
Project update
- Zhoushan Huakang finished the one million t/a corn deep processing healthy food ingredients project (Phase I, Stage II).
- Longsheng Nutramax completed the monk fruit processing full industry chain project (Phase II).
- Jinyoukang finished the pomelo fruits deep processing and comprehensive utilization project (Phase I).
- Huacheng Biotech plans a monk fruit extract expansion project.
- Shengjiu Sugar Alcohol proposes a xylose by-products mother liquor high-value utilization transformation project.
- Vitasweet plans an aspartame green upgrade technical renovation project.
Import and Export
From Jan. to Sept., 2025, China's acesulfame-K exports decreased by 16.5% YoY.
