In October, the prices of main raw materials for fungicides generally decreased, while the prices of some chemical raw materials fluctuated widely. In October, the overall trading of fungicides TC in the market was acceptable, with the market remaining firm, and some TC prices slightly loosened, with an average price increase of 0.03% MoM.

On the company front, on 14 October, 2025, Zhelong Cropscience's 5,550 t/a thiodiazole copper TC and formulations production project passed acceptance check. In October 2025, CAC Nantong, Yingde Greatchem, Rainbow Chemical and three other listed companies successively released their Q3 reports for 2025, all achieving double growth in revenue and net profit except for Sino-Agri Leading.

In policy news, on 26 September, 2025, MARA launched a public consultation, proposing new regulations on the generation format and usage requirements for QR codes on pesticide labels.

Regarding registration, on 25 September, ICAMA publicised the 11th-batch pesticides that it had planned to approve of registration, which includes 156 fungicide products, with the majority being SC formulations. Popular active ingredients of these fungicide products are prothioconazole, fluopyram, pyraclostrobin, fludioxonil, tebuconazole and trifloxystrobin.

As to disease, on 27 September 2025, Guangxi reported a moderate, locally moderate-to-severe prevalence of major mid-early season late rice diseases. In October, 2025, Guangdong reported a moderate, locally moderate-to-severe prevalence of major mid-late season late rice diseases.

In trade, in September 2025, exports of China's fungicide formulations reached 30,603.61 tonnes, up 45.88% YoY, with the export value rising by 28.45% YoY to USD131.90 million, and the average export price decreased by 11.94% YoY.
