In May 2025, Huaheng Biology's annual report for 2024 shows that revenue increase by 12.37%YoY, while net profit decrease by57.80%YoY; Meihua Group released its Q1 report for 2025, achieved revenue of USD0.87 billion (RMB6.27 billion), a YOY decrease of 3.36%, net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company reached USD0.14 billion (RMB1.02 billion), a YOY increase of 35.52%.

Governmental Direction

By the end of April 2025, the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China issued a notice on the issuance of the "Plan for Grain Conservation in the Breeding Industry".

Price

In May 2025, prices of both solid methionine and liquid methionine increased slightly YoY.

Import and Export

In April 2025, lysine ester and salt export volume fell by 20.17% MoM, while the import volume increased by 287.72% MoM.
