In June, the prices of main raw materials for fungicides generally declined, while the prices of some chemical raw materials fluctuated widely. In June, the market for fungicides TC remained at a low level, with the prices of most TC showing a downward trend.

Company dynamics:

• On 3 June, 2025, Tianyuan Biochemical disclosed the completion report of IPO coaching on the SSE main board, and optimized the company's governance through restructuring of stock right structure. A shareholders' meeting is scheduled to be convened on 19 June to deliberate and approve the proposals related to the listing on the SSE main board.
• On 5 June, 2025, EI report of Weifang Shuangxing's 2,000 t/a difenoconazole TC technological renovation project was accepted, with a total investment of USD2.80 million (RMB20.13 million) and an expected annual profit of USD2.95 million (RMB21.17 million).
• On 24 June, 2025, Miraculous Crop's 10,000 t/a pyraclostrobin renovation and expansion project was publicised.

Policy: On 5 June, 2025, the Department of Pesticide Management, MARA of China, announced a decision to revoke the use scope of tricyclazole registered products on rice sheath blight and False smut from 31 Dec., 2025, and to cease approving new registrations for its use in rice sheath blight and False smut.

Registration: On 29 May, ICAMA publicised the 6th-batch pesticides that it had planned to approve of registration, which includes 89 fungicide products, with the majority being SC formulations. Popular active ingredients of these fungicide products are pyraclostrobin, tebuconazole, metalaxyl-M, fludioxonil, trifloxystrobin.

Disease control: On 28 May, 2025, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangdong Province issued a forecast for the occurrence of diseases and pests in the middle and late stages of early rice, predicting that the overall occurrence of diseases and pests in the middle and late stages of early rice across the province will be moderate, with some areas being relatively heavy, and lighter than last year. On 5 June, 2025, the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Center released the forecast for the occurrence trend of early rice diseases and pests across the country in 2025, estimating that the overall occurrence of early rice diseases in 2025 will be moderate, with a national occurrence area of about 5.47 million hm².

Trade analysis: In May 2025, exports of China's fungicide formulations reached 24,233.66 tonnes, up 19.86% YoY, with the export value rising by 22.36% YoY to USD113.13 million, and the average export price increased by 2.09% YoY.
